Ever since the idea of podcasting came into my little brain,I wanted to share Rebekah’s story. Our friendship began in the late 90’s. Since most of you have never heard of Rebekah I’ve waited patiently; saving her story until I had gained your “podcast trust”.
Her story is that. (very). good.
I realize her circumstances may be different from yours. But the conclusion she came to is the same one I pray we all draw.
To get to the end of ourselves and not relying on others for fulfillment. To find complete satisfaction and hope in God alone. Because…
The goal is not to pursue a relationship. The goal is to pursue the Lord. -Rebekah Greer
Halfway through podcast hear about the hard choice Rebekah had to make…to walk or to stay in her marriage.
I knew that I knew that I knew that God had freed me from Egypt… -Rebekah Greer
Most importantly, listen and discover one of the best (and simplest) ways you can support those who are hurting around you.
Sometimes I just needed a word for a day…really, that’s how I existed for months.-Rebekah Greer
Rebekah wonderfully communicates how our hope is found connecting with God over any other relationship.
May her story communicate the big story God wants you to hear, the beautiful story of Redeeming Love.
*I apologize for the random buzzing sounds during the podcast…we could not figure out how to prevent them. Fortunately, I think her story and insights are so compelling you won’t even notice (crossing fingers).

Here’s a little reminder on how to listen to the podcast (thanks Kat from inspiredtoaction.com for these steps!).
1. Listen on the blog. Click through to GodCenteredMom.com and click the play button at the beginning of this post.
2. Listen on your smartphone, iPad or iPod Touch – There are a lot of great podcasting apps. Apple has a free one (that I mentioned) in the app store, there is also one called Downcast (that Kat uses). It allows you to search for shows, subscribe to them and even speed up the audio.
3. Subscribe to the Podcast – access the podcast in iTunes (Click here to access via iTunes). You can also search for it on your smartphone app (like the ones listed above) and subscribe.
